Who says pink can't be intimidating?

So what's new in the world of Saramoff?

Pink Chaos Warriors is what. More importantly, a pink Chaos Sorcerer.

This picture reveals that I still have a Venom and many Ogres to make. Lazy lazy LAZY.

Nothing much else to report. It's my local Games Workshop's (and the manager) birthday, so tomorrow I'll head down and present this as a late christmas present to a friend of mine. He had pink Tzeentch Warriors of Chaos and I wanted to both be generous and try out some new techniques.

I need to work on my horns.

Terminators of the Grey kind: They don't suck.

Cool Mini or Not.
The current common consensus is that Grey Knight Terminators are not that good compared to Strike Squads. In fact, some people dare to say that Terminators are bad and that if you take them, you don't know how to play Grey Knights properly.

This is something of a ridiculous statement and I believe it needs to be addressed. After chatting with VT2 on occassion, I've been able to clarify all these points and effectively give them a good curbstomping.

I've heard the many common arguments used to promote Strike Squads over Terminators and hopefully, I'll be able to present why these trains of thought are not really that good, all things considered.

+++ Target has been eliminated. Acquiring new prey. +++

Work in progress Deathmarks. I've aimed to make them look like the official colour scheme because sometimes, why not avoid being original?

Pink venom is just chilling in the rows of paints.

I am still alive, just busy painting. I think I'm gonna have to make a point addressing the use of Grey Knight Terminators. It seems people think they're not good?

I'm uncertain what gives them that impression.

Also.

New blog logo. Next up is the favicon but it won't get a blog post like this.

Painting Latest: Mournfang Rider

Howdy.

As you can tell from my Ogre review, the pictures of my Ogre miniatures and the only content being Ogres, they are my latest army to collect. After much laziness and work getting in the way, I've got a Mournfang Cavalry Crusher painted up and ready.

Ogre Kingdom Review, Part 9 - Closing Words

What a crazy trip this has been.

Most of this writing has been on my holidays off work, where I can focus on it and sticking together all the new ogre stuff I bought. I've got a wonderful Thundertusk now that's trying it's damned hardest to stick to the base. The rest of my time has been writing this, playing Space Marine or eating or sleeping.

Ogres as a whole are an aggressive army, which favour taking a proactive approach of charging the enemy. They have a large amount of attacks in combat and have a good magic phase to back them up, used by tough wizards who can hold their own compared to anything less than a chaos sorcerer. Ogres also have decent shooting, large monsters, heavy hitting cavalry and the options for lots of models or very few. On top of this, their heroes and lords can cause hell and get to some wickedly high damage potential.
